How do I know which service to book for if I'm not sure what I need?

No worries at all-if after reading the New Guest Package descriptions and you're still unsure, you can send me a quick message via email-nikkiblockhairstylist@gmail.com with a photo of your current hair and a few inspiration pics. Feel free to include a brief description as to what you're looking for. I'll help guide you to the right service so we can plan the best experience for you.

What should I do to prepare for my appointment?

Please come with clean, dry hair (washed within 24 hours if possible), and avoid heavy styling products. If you're getting color, wearing a button-up or zippered top helps avoid smudges when changing afterward.

How long will my appointment take?

Timing can vary depending on the service. A soft dimensional color with gray coverage and a possible haircut typically takes around 2.5-3 hours, while a haircut & style is closer to 45-60 minutes. If you're receiving just a touch-up either on your natural tone or your gray with a haircut then you can expect 2-2.5 hours. I always build in extra time to talk through your hair goals first so we're on the same page.

Will my hair be high-maintenance after color?

Not at all-I specialize in natural-looking, blended color that grows out beautifully. We'll talk about your lifestyle and how often you want to maintain your look, then choose a technique that works for you.

Is my hair too long to work with you?

My work is focused on short to mid-length hair. If your hair is currently past the arm pit but you're excited about going shorter or wearing it around shoulder length, you're absolutely welcome. If your goal is to keep your hair long, this may not be the best fit-and that's okay!
